Frequently asked questions

Wild Game FAQ’s :

How does dropping off work?

When you arrive follow signs to drop off on the left side of the building. If there is a line please wait to unload your deer until you are on the cement in front of the door. We have an alert to let us know when you come in so if no one is there, we will be shortly! Lastly please make sure to have your game check number ready at drop off!

Does my deer need to be gutted?

Yes! If your deer is not gutted there is a $50 fee. Please make sure to remove everything in the chest cavity and the anus as well! Meateater has a great breakdown of gutting deer. Click here to see it!

How is my meat packaged?

Starting this year all of your meat will now come vacuum packed at no extra cost!

Do you accept Bear?

Yes! You need to gut your bear as soon as possible and then pack their chest with ice. Bear have a thick layer of fat and retain their heat causing the meat to spoil quickly if not gutted right away. If you bring a bear with spoiled meat, we will not process it for you! You will also need to save a premolar tooth and its root to send in to the DWR.
